Weighing 300 g/m² and made of 100% flame-retardant polyester, it combines the elegant look of genuine velvet with the fire safety requirements applicable in professional settings: The fabric has been tested in accordance with DIN 4102 B1 and DIN EN 13773. The flame-retardant finish is permanently incorporated into the material and does not wear off with use.
The deep pile absorbs both light and sound. This gives the surface a calm, opaque appearance, eliminates reflections, and noticeably improves the room’s acoustics—whether used as a curtain, a backdrop, or a room divider.
